Drigg & Carelton Gala 11th June 2022
Welcome back to our annual village gala. It has been a long 2 year wait but we are back. We have all our regular attractions, stalls, competitions and races to suit all ages. jason The juggling Jester will be here to entertain all with his balloon models and juggling antics.
This year we have dancing dislays, CNC dog team displays, Wasdale mountain Rescue, Workington RNLI Fundraising Stall, many local craft stalls to name but a few. We also have our Art competition across different age groups with cash prizes and rosettes. Our fancy dress competition is always the hardest to judge with some of the best costumes in West Cumbria.
Our favourite event has to be the children's races. With cash prizes and sweets to play for competition is always fierce.
Join us on Saturday 11th June at the Victoria Hotel Show Field (Next to the Drigg railway station).
The event opens at 1:30pm by this years Gala Queen, Martha Wake.
